Deeds are conveyances which transfer title of property from one party to another. The deed gives date of instrument, names of grantor (seller) and grantee (purchaser), location of property, amount paid for the property, grantor's notarized signature, certification of county clerk, and date recorded.

Bell, the 112th Kentucky county, was formed in 1867 from parts of Knox, Harlan, and Whitley Counties. It is named for Joshua F. Bell. Pineville is its county seat.
